International strategic demand.

Meridian Nordic operates at the intersection of Norwegian industrial opportunities and international strategic demand.

We work with Norwegian owners and companies seeking relevant international visibility and potential strategic buyers — and with international buyers seeking selected Norwegian companies and acquisition opportunities.

Eivind Teigland

Founder, CEO & Chairman | Meridian Nordic Ltd

More than four decades across maritime operations, international business and industry have shaped how I work today: discreetly, directly and with respect for the people behind every company.

My professional background began at sea, progressing from deck work to officer positions before serving with the Norwegian Coast Guard aboard KV Andenes. I later studied Naval Architecture in Trondheim, providing the technical foundation for a career that has remained closely connected to maritime and industrial business.

Over the following decades, my work expanded into shipbroking, international trade, industrial business development and cross-border relationships, with extensive exposure to both European and Asian markets.

That experience has given me a practical understanding of companies, industries and business cultures — but above all, of the people and long-term decisions behind them.

Today, my focus is deliberately clear:

Connecting Company Owners with Qualified Buyers.

I work with company owners who may be considering a full or partial ownership transition, as well as qualified buyers seeking companies, capabilities or strategic positions that may never appear publicly on the market.

My role is focused on Origination → Mutual Relevance → Introduction.

This means identifying potentially relevant companies and buyers, exploring whether there is a genuine strategic basis for dialogue, and — where both sides see sufficient relevance to continue — facilitating a confidential introduction.

A company does not need to be publicly for sale. A buyer does not need to be publicly searching.

My role is not to provide legal, tax, valuation, due diligence or transaction advice. Where an introduction develops towards a transaction, the formal M&A process is handled by professional legal and transaction specialists.

After decades in international business, I have learned that some of the most valuable opportunities are rarely created through volume. They begin with understanding who should speak with whom — and why.

Discretion is fundamental.
No names before consent.
Relevance before volume.
The owner remains in control.
